Ammara Ahmed - Maid of Honor

Ammara and Shwetha bonded over crusty cheese on their nachos during medschool orientation; the rest is history.  Their love for food and laughs grew into a sisterhood. Neighbors, to roommates; Blacksburg, VA to Spartanburg SC, across the world to Greece and Turkey, to now Ohio, their friendship has lasted through so much change and happiness. Ammara is a pediatrics resident at Metro Health in Cleveland.

 

Neha Nigam

Affectionately called big "seester"; They met as co-terrapins at the university of Maryland. Neha is her role model.  She is the best advice/encouragment from far away. She is the girl that let her bum on her couch for a whole month. Neha is a GI fellow at University of Chicago.

 

Sarah Donnelly

All it took was one night of dancing. Shwetha knew it would be a detriment to her social life to not befriend Sarah. This smartypants is down for any adventure, whether it be road trips to Jacksonville, Charleston, Savannah, Charolette, or across seas.  Watch out on the dance floor! Sarah is a Pediatrics resident at Medical University of South Carolina.

 

Ashima Aneja

Ashima and Shwetha met in medical school, and lived together for two years in good old Spartanburg, SC. Ashima is a beautiful person inside and out...and can throw down in a baking championship. Ashima plans to tie the knot in April 2017 and she is a Psychiatry resident at VCU.

 

Nikoletta Gjoni

Nikki claims that their friendship first started as intimidation, as Shwetha sat behind her in some nerd class in high school. She is one of Shwetha's oldest and dearest friends with a dynamic personality with incredible writing skills. They have managed to meet up every time she's in town, and it's like time has never passed. Nikki is an Operations Coordinator for AppleTree Early Learning in Maryland. 

 

Solia Kem

Shwetha can't remember if it was the locker room in 6th grade or lagging behind in a cross country run in middle school, but as soon as she met Solia, it was impossible to not love her to pieces. Her laugh is contagious, and has carried them through high school, college and beyond. They may not have lived in the same state in over 5 years, but catching up is one of Shwetha's favorite things because laughs are guaranteed when Solia is around. Solia is a senior auditor at The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) in Baltimore, MD.
